Black Darter Investment GmbH is an entrepreneurial investment company with a focus on investments in sustainable economic sectors and growth markets.
Our primary goal is the long-term performance of companies – not short-term profit maximization or dividend optimization.
Through management participation in the portfolio companies, we aim to strengthen entrepreneurial thinking and action.
By acquiring majority stakes, we act as a management company and take a team-oriented approach without restricting the authority and independence of our subsidiaries.
Thanks to our high equity base, we operate independently of institutional investors.
Urban electromobility
Our portfolio company is the market-leading provider of urban electric mobility in Germany. Since 2017, the company has been expanding its distribution of electrically powered two- and four-wheelers, making it one of the market pioneers.
Secure food
Our portfolio company is a producer of wheat and beans. Thanks to modern agricultural technology, the more than 1 million square meter area in one of the driest regions on earth can be cultivated economically. The products are sold exclusively in the local market – where they are produced.
Effizient bauen
Our affiliated company supplies renowned construction companies with high-quality, competitive technical components, in particular heat pumps, lighting installations, and other complex systems.
